Women's Gala 2025 – 45 years of strength, courage, and sisterhood

This year, Malmö Child and Women's Shelter celebrated 45 years. The Women's Gala was held at Malmö Opera.

and I, Rebecca, had the honor of being there as a makeup artist for this unforgettable evening.

To be able to contribute my passion for beauty in such an important context meant a great deal to me.
For behind every woman is a story of courage, struggle, love, and strength.
And this evening was all about that: uplifting women who have dared, survived, and inspired.

The Women's Shelter is a powerful initiative that for over four decades has supported women who have been exposed to violence, injustice, or difficult life situations.
They provide support, protection, and hope, showing that no one is alone.

To do the participants' makeup before the evening, and also to create "bruises" to convey a strong message, that was something I will never forget.

It's not just about makeup. It's about providing security, self-confidence, and a moment of dignity and joy.

I want to thank all of you who have contacted me after the gala, shared warmth and love, and of course all the fantastic women who inspire every day.
